Description
Atlantic View Holiday Home is a seaside holiday apartment situated on an elevated site with breath-taking views of Killybegs Harbour in County Donegal. Situated on Irelands Wild Atlantic Way this idyllic holiday apartment offers peace and tranquillity while still being close to the quaint fishing village of Killybegs.
Killybegs is the largest fishing port in the country and on the island of Ireland. The town is situated at the head of a scenic harbour and at the base of a vast mountainous tract extending northward.
Property layout – Ground floor:
- Well equipped kitchen
- Open living area with direct access to patio area
- Bedroom 1: double ensuite sleeping 2
- Bedroom 2: double ensuite sleeping 2
Secure car parking is available and is shared with the Owner.
There is WIFI available at this holiday home and towels are provided.
This is strictly a no smoking holiday home.

- Killybegs: local pubs, shops & restaurants.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Shared home with owner:

We had a wonderful stay at Atlantic View Holiday Home in Killybegs. The house is exactly as described on the website: the view from the garden is beautiful and the house is clean and comfortable and has all requirements for a holiday stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Atlantic View Holiday Home in Killybegs. The house is exactly as described on the website: the view from the garden is beautiful and the house is clean and comfortable and has all requirements for a holiday stay. The beach of Fintra is about 10 minutes away by car and it’s a pure delight to swim in its waters and walk along its white sands. All the countryside around is breathtaking but it is more accessible from Killybegs by car or bike than on foot. Killybegs is an attractive fishing village and we spent a most enjoyable time shopping in The Wild Atlantic Crafts shop there and relaxing over delicious meals at the many fine restaurants and cafés, including The Fleet and Mrs B’s. The people whom we met in Donegal were, without exception, friendly and welcoming. We were very fortunate to have such a friendly and courteous host at Atlantic View Holiday Home - Larry was really helpful and informative and made everything seem as though it were no trouble at all. We would definitely visit again. |
