Lough Corrib Luxury Holiday Home is set in a peaceful countryside location close to the village of Oughterard. This large self-catering accommodation sleeps 8 guests comfortably, perfect for a family gathering or holiday with friends. Guests will savour the Lough Corrib, the 20 acres of Irish bog and forestry that surround the holiday home can be enjoyed. Oughterard Pier is a five minute walk, from here you can take a cruise to Inchagoill Island and Cong. Guests will experience views of the Connemara mountains and Lough Corrib's 365 islands.
Oughterard (1.7km) and Moycullen (15.9km) have a great selection of restaurants, cafés, and shops. The vibrant city of Galway (27km) is easily reachable, a wonderful destination for a day trip or two. Enjoy live music sessions or explore the mediaeval city walls that still stand in the nearby Latin Quarter. The city is packed with cosy cafés, fashion boutiques award winning restaurants and art galleries.
From the holiday home you will enjoy views of Lough Corrib, renowned for its scenic beauty, popular for fishing, and many boating activities. The lake is one of the best trout fishing lakes in Europe. Conveniently this luxury holiday home has access to the lake via a private path, 100 metres walk from the holiday home. On the lakeshore there is seating so guests can enjoy the views of the lake and surrounding area.

- Dining Room: seats eight guests comfortably, access to an outdoor patio with seating for six.

From the entrance hall the second floor is accessed via a wooden and glass staircase. There is a stunning mezzanine area which consists of seating and a pool table. This area overlooks the open plan living area, a great additional space for guests to enjoy.

Electricity and heating are included in the rental price from May to September with a supplement of €20 per night being charged from October to April. This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
