Achill Sound Holiday Village is situated on the water’s edge on scenic Achill Island in County Mayo. This charming seaside holiday accommodation is within a few minutes walk of the local shops, traditional pubs and excellent restaurants serving fresh seafood sourced locally.
You will be surrounded by magnificent scenery and a variety of popular walks from Achill Sound Holiday Village, No 11. Achill Island has five beautiful Blue Flag beaches to choose from: Keem Bay, Kell Strand, Dooega, Golden Strand, and Dugort, all of which are easily accessible from this seaside holiday home.

There is a shared large green with wonderful sea views outside this lovely seaside holiday home.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager before arrival how this is calculated or before making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).

Just back after a lovely week in Achill sound. House was spotless clean as every trident house is, we have been in a few at this stage and every one has been great. What you see on Web site is what you get. House very close to Achill sound walking disee more
Just back after a lovely week in Achill sound. House was spotless clean as every trident house is, we have been in a few at this stage and every one has been great. What you see on Web site is what you get. House very close to Achill sound walking distance. House well equipped with everything you could need. Manager Nisa couldn't have been more welcoming. As weather was chilly in the evenings and a couple of nights we even lit a fire Nisa brought us as bag of turf when she heard we lit the fire. No hesitation in recomnending this house.

This house suited us as we were visiting a relative in the nearby nursing home. Apart from Wi-Fi it had all the aids for daily living. Nisa the house key holder was very helpful as usual and assisted us with anything we needed explained

We were extremely happy with our accommodation in Achill Sound!! The Property Manager and her husband were outstanding - so helpful in every way. I happened to mention that I was looking for a daily mass to attend, and she found the schedule of allsee more
We were extremely happy with our accommodation in Achill Sound!! The Property Manager and her husband were outstanding - so helpful in every way. I happened to mention that I was looking for a daily mass to attend, and she found the schedule of all the masses in the area and sent that to me, even though I hadn't asked her to do that or expected that. Another time, we were asking where we could buy peat to make a peat fire in the fireplace, and within a short time she and her husband came to the unit with bags of peat and made the fire for us! In every way, they were so kind and helpful that it really enhanced our vacation experience. The unit itself is clean and attractive and has outstanding views. We were able to have a peat fire in the evening and look at to the waters of Achill Sound and the mountains beyond with our breakfast. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Not to mention it is right around the corner from the Queen of Peace House of Prayer, which is not to be missed!
