Description
Sea View Holiday Home Sheep's Head is a wonderful detached holiday home set in an absolutely stunning location in West Cork. From this large holiday home on the Sheep’s Head Peninsula you will be treated to stunning sea views over Bantry Bay and across to the scenic Beara Peninsula.
This beautifully designed holiday home is 4.5km from the seaside village of Kilcrohane and 18km from the vibrant harbour town of Bantry. Located on part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way this luxurious holiday home is also 400 metres from Gortnakilla Pier.
Property layout – Ground floor:
- Open plan kitchen and dining area
- Living toom with high vaulted ceiling, 50’’ Freesat TV, DVD player and CD player
- Bedroom 1: kingsize ensuite with shower cubicle sleeping 2
- Cloakroom with toilet
Property layout – First floor:
- Bedroom 2: kingsize ensuite with shower sleeping 2
- Bedroom 3: twin sleeping 2
- Bedroom 4: twin sleeping 3
- Bathroom with shower over ¾ sunken bath, and toilet
- Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, providing extra storage
Glass French doors lead out to a paved patio area with outside furniture perfect for alfresco dining. The lawned garden also has a babbling mountain stream running through it which has an enclosed patio alongside.
Private parking beside this holiday home is available for five cars.
This holiday home has a natural water supply from a borehole and there is an unfenced stream and pond 6½ yards away.
There is also a step at the entrance. Please note the open fire in the living room is not in use.
Utilities, towels and wifi are included in the rental charge.

Pet Friendly Holiday Home
Dogs are welcome at this holiday home but they must be kept on a lead at all times. Please note there is a ban on dogs on the majority of walking routes on the sheep’s head way as farm animals are grazing. This coastal holiday home will accept a maximum of 3 small dogs upon request only. Cleaning charges vary if excessive cleaning is required, please discuss with our reservation team upon booking via our call centre. Sea View Holiday Home Sheeps Head. WOW, what can I say. We had a great time staying in Sea view. The location is perfect. West Cork is a beautiful place to visit. Barley Cove beach is a must see, one of the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Bantry town has lots to offer. Jumping off the pier is fun, kayaking hire there too is fun. We will be back for sure. Tina the rep is so nice and helpful. Make sure to check out the pier in Kilcronhane too, lots of fun.

Lovely early morning walks and evenings watching the sunset even got to see the cruise ship travel by to the delight of grandson, and the lovely farmer and his cows who had a wave and smile everyday for him Thank you.

The house is about 25 minutes away from Bantry so if you are ok with a bit of isolation, this is a great location! Tina, the property manager was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly with any concerns. Also, happened to meet the owner who was extremely nice.
