Description
Seacliff Holiday Homes, as the name suggests, are situated in an idyllic cliff top location adjacent to the Dunmore East Golf Club overlooking Dunmore Harbour and Hook Lighthouse.
The holiday homes are just a short walk down hill to the local sandy cove at Counsellors Strand, the lovely pubs & restaurants in the picturesque village of Dunmore East.

There is a children's playground onsite.
The Lighthouse Bar & Restaurant is located next to the holiday home and provides family friendly dining overlooking the Hook Head & Dunmore East Harbour. The opening hours at the nearby bars and restaurants change throughout the year.

We stay in dunmore east every year. Fantastic place for a holiday. Especially with kids. The house this year was brilliant. The upstairs has been carpeted which really reduce me the noise. Also an extra door in the bathroom into the second bedroom. Gsee more

Only issue I would have is the electricity. Unless you're aware of prepay power it might be a shock at how much your bill is. It is more expensive than other suppliers. Customers may not realise this unless they have prepay themselves. It's probably see more

No 2 had an open fire which was great but the rest of the heating is electric. That's the only issue I can see. It wouldn't put me off coming back.

I have stayed in the houses in seacliff before. The location is great for us. Easy access to the beach. All of the houses were very clean but they were in desperate need of an update. Particularly to justify the price hike over the last few years. Sosee more

The house was repainted, new couch, and new curtains throughout and new carpets upstairs. Wifi is now included which was great for the rainy days. The bathrooms were clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Would book this particular house over the others in Seacliff in future.

We waited a long time to stay here as we had originally booked for May 2020 and lockdown had hit! We have two young children (4 & 2 years old), and the location was brilliant as the beach is basically on your doorstep and the kids loved the restauransee more

We have two young children (4 & 2 years old), and the location was brilliant as the beach is basically on your doorstep and the kids loved the restaurant on site because they could run about free while Mummy and Daddy enjoyed a pint lol!
We had a great wee holiday here and the house was clean and beds comfortable, nothing too fancy but that didn't bother us. Both the kids slept well as well, there was very little noise to worry about after 8pm. The only downside for us was the lack of enclosed outdoor space, however overall I would still recommend this accommodation for people with small children as the location and proximity to Dunmore village, restaurants and beach was just what we needed as a family with two very energetic wee boys. We really had a great time and did not want to come home! |

Adding gates for the outdoor gardens, or separations so young kids can't wonder far, it would have been lovely for us to be able to let them out while we cooked dinner etc. Our house was right next to the road.

4 children. Very spacious and really clean. Down side the floor boards upstairs extremely creaky especially when trying to get little toddlers to sleep. I would highly recommend the seacliff holiday homes and would love to return back there some day. |
