Oughterard Holiday Cottage is a large holiday cottage in pristine condition and is finished to a very high standard. The unique holiday cottage in Galway is one of a few of the original 18 railway gatekeeper cottages which were built along the Galway to Clifden railway which operated between 1895-1935.

Pet Friendly Holiday Cottage
Oughterard Holiday Cottage is a pet-friendly holiday home. This property will accept a maximum of 1 dog. Please reserve at the time of booking via our call centre, as your pet will not be accepted without prior confirmation. Pets are not permitted in the bedrooms, on carpeted areas or on the furniture. Pets must not be left in the property unsupervised and must be exercised off premises. Where the number of pets is exceeded, or additional cleaning is required due to pets being on furniture, carpets or beds, the charge for the additional cleaning will be made against your security deposit.Local area & Tourist Attractions

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Heating and Electricity:This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

This house is absolutely beautiful. The place is spotless. The sleeping accommodation is really comfortable. There is everything you need in the house. TV with all channels great for the children. The location is brilliant for touring connemara and tsee more

The location is brilliant for touring connemara and there are some beautiful places to eat in the village. I would recommend this house its fantastic. From the booking date until 29 days before check-in, cancellation would have a penalty of 50% of the total price of the rent.
