Self Catering Holiday Homes in Claddaghduff, Co. Galway
Claddaghduff is an area situated northwest of Clifden. It is rich in historical sites especially on Omey Island which is reached on foot when the tide is out where you can see the remains of the 7th century church of St. Feichin and a wedge tomb and drumlins.
The main attraction of this beautiful place is the white sandy beaches, blue seas and the wildlife, which has over time inspired so many artists and writers. There is deep sea angling, lake fishing, and boat trips to Inisturk and Inishbofin.
In Claddaghduff there is a local pub which serves freshly caught seafood dishes, and is quite famous for mackerel in season.
