Glaslough is a pretty Victorian village, of beautiful stone cut buildings and old world ambiance, located 3km from the border with Northern Ireland and 10km from Monaghan Town. The Castle Leslie Estate Hotel and accommodation has its entrance right in the heart of the village.
There are convenience stores and good pubs serving food in the village and of course visitors enjoy dining in the Castle restaurants and bars. Monaghan town is surrounded by drumlin hinterland which inspired the writing of poet Patrick Kavanagh. There are great shops, pubs and restaurants.
