Renville Park, just 5 minutes by car from the village of Oranmore, is an extensive area of woodland and open grassland on the shores of Galway Bay, surrounding the ruins of the ancient Oranmore castle dating from the 16th century. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife and visitors can frequently see raven, grey heron and otters. The Park’s large picnic areas and children's playground make it a firm favourite with families all year round.

Galway Bay Golf club and sailing club have their base here and walkers can enjoy the marked trails. Our holiday home in Renville is a perfect base from which to explore Galway, and the West of Ireland, yet with lots of amenities on your doorstep.
