The nearby sandy beaches of Connemara, including Mannin Bay, Gurteen and Dogs Bay are all within a short drive. Things to see and do in Connemara

Clifden Castle is located 700 metres from this self-catering holiday home, a ruined manor-built c. 1818 for John D'Arcy, the local landowner, in the Gothic Revival style. The castle was uninhabited after 1894 and fell into disrepair. There are numerous festivals throughout the year in Clifden, including the famous Connemara Pony Festival and the Arts Festival in September.
