Sky Road Holiday Home is situated 2.9 km from Clifden, this vibrant seaside town is packed with good restaurants, cosy cafes, lively trad bars and craft shops. There are numerous festivals throughout the year in Clifden, including the famous Connemara Pony Festival and the Arts Festival in September.
Further afield and just a short drive away is Connemara National Park which is one of six national parks in Ireland. The park was established in 1980 and managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. Connemara National Park covers some 2,000 hectares of scenic mountains, expanses of bogs, heaths, grasslands and woodlands.
Kylemore Abbey is another top tourist attraction in Connemara County Galway and well worth a visit on your next self-catering holiday in County Galway.

Clifden Castle is located 700 metres from this self-catering holiday home, a ruined manor-built c. 1818 for John D'Arcy, the local landowner, in the Gothic Revival style.
