The Great Western Greenway, a 42 km long track for cyclists, walkers and runners which follows the route of the former Achill to Westport railway line, has widened the possibilities for exploring this wonderful place. The Achill end of the Greenway starts at Achill Sound where our holiday homes are located. There is also a visitors’ centre at the foot of the mountain and adjacent to the National Famine Monument.
