Kilmore is located 2km south from our holiday accommodation in Bridgetown. Home to Mary Barry’s Bar which is renowned for its extensive menu serving a selection of sea food which lands locally in Kilmore Quay. This pretty village has a grocery shop, post office and a beautiful array of traditional pretty thatched cottages.
The popular seaside village of Kilmore Quay is 7km south. You and your guests will be spoilt for choice with the variety of seafood restaurants selling fresh daily catch. There are a selection of traditional pubs, a children’s playground and sandy coves. Hire a boat and enjoy a day out fishing along the Wexford coast.
Take a trip to the Saltee Islands or walk the Ballyteige Burrow trail, one of the finest sand dune systems in the South East of Ireland. A little further afield is the bustling town of Wexford with its many shops, restaurants and a wide range of activities. Enjoy a concert at the Wexford Opera House which plays host to the opera festival every Autumn or plan a day trip to the Irish National Heritage Park, a must on your next holiday in Wexford.
